Illegal Immigrant Arrested in Nashua: Police

Hecter Luis Arias-Ramirez was also hit with a drug charge after allegedly trying to ditch a bindle of heroin while going to the bathroom.

An illegal immigrant was caught using fake documents to obtain a driver’s license in Nashua, police said.

Hecter Luis Arias-Ramirez, 26, also allegedly had heroin on him at the time. He was charged with tampering with public records and drug possession.

Police said walked into a Division of Motor Vehicles branch Tuesday morning. He used a fake name—Edgardo Rivera Pega, police said. Staff noticed the fake documents and called authorities. Police said while he was being interviewed, he went to use a bathroom and tossed a bindle of heroin on the ground.

Arias-Ramirez was living in Boston after illegally re-entering the U.S. from the Dominican Republic. He refused bail and was scheduled for an arraignment Wednesday.
