Knife-Wielding Nashua Teen Strangled Woman: Police
Nashua teen charged with 11 counts of assault after strangling a woman and threatening her with a knife, police said.
Nashua, NH — A knife-wielding Nashua teenager strangled a woman and threatened to kill her in a domestic incident at a downtown residence, according to police.
Halie Ryder, 19, was arrested Tuesday on a host of charges.
Police said she assaulted a woman multiple times that day.

"In those altercations, Ryder struck the victim with her hands, struck the victim with objects, damaged the
victim’s cell phone, threatened the victim with a knife, and on two occasions Ryder strangled the
victim and threatened to kill the victim," Nashua police Lt. Kerry Baxter said in a statement.

Ryder was held on $25,000 bail pending an arraignment.
