Landlords, Property Managers Arrested for Gas Installation, Sewage Violations
Nashua officers, code enforcement officials bust three for "substandard and unsafe living conditions."

The Nashua Police Department has arrested three local landlords and property maintenance managers for various violations after a multi-month investigation into the living conditions at some of the cities rental properties.
The three arrested included:
Kyle Lamerand, 50, of Cottage Avenue in Nashua, for fuel gas fitters, who was arrested in April;

Thomas Bester, 44, of Sawyer Street in Nashua, for fuel gas fitters, in June;
Douglas Dichard, 53, of Parrish Hill Drive in Nashua, for forgery of a city of Nashua gas verification tag, and drainage, three violations of city of Nashua housing codes and one violation of city of Nashua mechanical requirements, on Aug. 22.

Police allege that Dichard allowed “the dumping raw sewage in a Pleasant Street storm drain,” according to a report. The forgery charges is punishable by a fine of $1,200.
Bester allegedly installed a gas water heater at 19 Mulberry St. without obtaining the proper permits and not being a licensed pipefitter.
It’s alleged that Lamerand installed a new boiler at 44 Temple St. without obtaining the proper permits and without being a licensed pipefitter.
Both fuel gas fitters charges carry up to a one year sentence and as much as a $2,000 fine.
