Latest Nashua Drug Sweep: 7 Arrested
Nashua police said seven suspects were arrested in the latest "Granite Shield" drug sweep Wednesday.

NASHUA, NH — Seven suspects were arrested in the latest Nashua police drug sweep, authorities announced Thursday. The suspects, arrested Wednesday, were charged with crimes involving heroin and crack cocaine, police said. The drug sweep was part of Nashua police's ongoing "Operation Granite Shield," a state-funded initiative targeting the state's opioid distribution network.
It was the 24th drug sweep in Nashua so far this year. A total of 137 suspects have been arrested in those sweeps. The latest sweep resulted in "individuals ... arrested for various drug crimes, and various crimes frequently associated with criminal behavior related to drug activity," Nashua police Capt. James Testaverde said in a statement.

Christopher Peak, 48, of Nashua, was charged with two counts of selling crack cocaine and held on $50,000 bail.
Christopher Freeman-Benjamin, 28, with no fixed address, was charged with selling crack cocaine and held on $30,000 bail.

Virgin Cardona, 48, with no fixed address, was arrested and charged with selling crack cocaine and held on $25,000 bail.
David Torres, 29, of Nashua, was charged with two counts of selling crack cocaine and held on $20,000 bail.
Adam Parker, 37, of Milford, was charged with two counts of selling heroin and one count of selling cocaine. He refused bail and was held in custody pending an arraignment.
Zuleika Cintron-Rosario, 35, of Nashua, was charged with four counts of selling crack cocaine and one count of selling cocaine. She was held on $100,000 bail.
Jesus Collazo, 40, of Nashua, was charged with three counts of selling heroin and one count of resisting arrest. He was held on $50,000 bail.
All suspects were scheduled for arraignments Thursday in Nashua District Court. Testaverde said anyone with information about illegal drug activity in the city should contact the Nashua police narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.
