Learn More About Being a YMCA Board Member

SHARE YOUR PASSION AS A VOLUNTEER: The YMCA of Greater Nashua is Looking for Board of Director and Committee Volunteers to assist in strengthening our community.

Those interested must be willing to act as an advocate for the Y within the community and make an investment of time, talent and/or treasure. Individuals should be dedicated to making decisions that are in the best interests of the organization as a whole.

Board of Director Responsibilities:
• Be a member of the YMCA of Greater Nashua
• Be an advocate for the organization in the community and in your networks
• Attend and actively participate in monthly Board of Directors meetings
• Serve on one sub-committee, meeting monthly
• Support the Y Annual Campaign through personal donations and by networking and soliciting others in the community
• Support Y events throughout the year as an attendee and contributor
• Serve at least one three-year term

Committee options are also available if you would rather join us in that capacity.
