ASSIST Aviation Solutions Launches New ROW Storm Survey Service for Utilities

ASSIST Aviation Solutions’ new Right-of-Way survey service is available now to support electrical utilities’ pre-storm preparations and post-storm recovery efforts. Using a vehicle-mounted camera, ASSIST collects HD video of distribution lines with integrated location and other data. Over 100 miles of transmission line data can be collected in a single day.

Unitil, a NH utility, used this service during the recent Thanksgiving snowstorm:
