Campaign website
Why are you seeking elective office?
I'm seeking re-election to continue working on the housing crisis, electric rates and providing the best public safety to our residents.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The single most pressing issue in Nashua is housing. I currently serve as the liaison to the Nashua Housing and Redevelopment Authority who is currently developing affordable housing and I serve on the Housing Trust Fund Committee. The Trust Fund is a vehicle to promote further development of housing including public/private partnerships and housing instability issues. I would like to continue on both of these housing committees so that Nashua can move forward with more housing .
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
The critical difference between me and the other candidates is experience.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
The issues that define my platform include housing that is critically needed and public safety that every resident deserves. Nashua has been voted the Second Safest City in America and I hope to continue the support needed to our first responders in order to keep that designation.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
My participation in the Electric Aggregation Committee has saved Nashua residents 22% on the supply side of their electric bills. My participation on the Budget Review Committee has yielded Nashua a AAA bond rating. My participation on the Housing Trust Fund will help to provide needed resources for housing.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Do more listening, less speaking.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
My experience makes me a good candidate for the City of Nashua Board of Aldermen.
