Man Accused Of Stabbing Another Man In Downtown Nashua
James Frye surrendered to police and was arrested on Monday, accused of stabbing another person twice inside a downtown home.

NASHUA, NH — A man from Nashua is facing two first-degree assault charges after being accused of stabbing a man inside a downtown home on Monday.
Around 12:30 a.m., police were sent to a home for a report of a man who was stabbed in the leg twice. Officers arrived, confirmed the injury, and EMTs took the victim to a local hospital for treatment, Lt. Joshua Albert of the Nashua Police Department’s criminal investigation division, said.
“His injuries were considered non-life threatening,” he said.

Patrol officers “were able to successfully negotiate the surrender of James Frye” from the residence, and he was arrested, Albert said. Detectives furthered the case; later, he was charged with two first-degree assault felony counts and a resisting arrest or detention charge. Frye, 60, of D Street in Nashua, faces 31 years in prison as well as fines.
Frye was held on preventative detention and was arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on Tuesday.
