Yesterday morning at around 9:30 a.m., officers were called downtown for a report of a burglary that had just occurred. A resident stated that she was home when Plourde – her roommate’s ex – “forced his way into the apartment and attempted to steal his ex-girlfriend’s property,” according to Lt. Kerry Baxter of the Nashua Police Department.

“While inside the apartment, Plourde was confronted by the roommate and pushed her before he fled,” Baxter alleged. “The roommate was not injured from the assault. Plourde’s ex-girlfriend was not home at the time and Plourde fled without any property from this residence.”

Plourde was found at around 1 p.m. downtown while officers were investigating a theft from another residence – after people he knew reportedly identified him as a suspect in the theft case. The jewelry was valued at less than $1,000. Police later determined that Plourde allegedly pawned the jewelry for cash on March 17.
