Man Charged for Alleged Knife Threat

Richard Higgins, 37, no fixed address, was arrested Nov. 11 on a warrant for allegedly threatning a woman with a knife.
On October 23, 2012, police investigated a report of an incident at 9 Thayer Court during which Higgins allegedly threatened a woman with a knife after he refused to leave the property when asked.
He was charged with one count of criminal threatening with the use of a deadly weapon, a class B felony. The victim was an adult female whom was known to Higgins. No one was injured.

A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in the New Hampshire State Prison, exclusive of fines. Mitchell was released on a $1,500 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on November 13, 2012.
