Man Charged in Burglary, Allegedly Took Tools, Generator

Police said Joseph Priore allegedly stole tools and a generator from a downtown residence.

Christopher Joseph Priore, 40 of 75 Lock Street, Apt. 2, Nashua, was arrested by police on Sept. 30 at about 12:30 a.m., charged with theft by unauthorized taking, a class B felony in connection with a residential burglary on Sept. 29.

On Sunday at about 5:30 p.m., Nashua police officers responded to a downtown address for the report of a burglary where they made contact with the victim, who reported that he had multiple power tools and a generator stolen from his storage area in the basement of his residence. He reported that the total value of the tools was more than $1,000.

During the ensuing police investigation, Priore was found to be in possession of the stolen power tools and generator. He was placed under arrest without incident. A class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Priore was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail, pending an arraignment at the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court.
