Man Charged With Armed Robbery, Sexual Assault

Stanley Urbanowicz faces multiple charges.

Stanley Urbanowicz, 25, of 70 A Walnut St., Nashua, was arrested April 16 on a warrant for armed robbery, a class A felony; criminal threatening, a class A misdemeanor; and sexual assault, a class A misdemeanor, in connection with the following incident:

Police said on April 14 at approximately 11:20 p.m., Nashua Police were called to investigation a reported tobbery in the area of Chestnut Street.

Officers responded and found a male victim who said he'd been robbed by a suspect (later determined to be Urbanowicz) who displayed what appeared to be a firearm. Urbanowicz also assaulted the victim by punching him several times. After assaulting the victim, it is alleged that Urbanowicz stole the victim’s wallet. The victim received minor injuries.

Immediately following the robbery, an adult male witness pursued Urbanowicz. It is alleged Urbanowicz then turned and pointed what appeared to be a firearm at this witness.

Prior to the reported robbery, it is alleged that Urbanowicz touched a 15-year-old girl through her clothing in a sexual manner.

Members of the Nashua Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division furthered this incident and, based on their investigation, Urbanowicz was charged with the above listed offenses.

A class A felony is punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. A class A misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in jail, exclusive of fines. Urbanowicz was held at the Nashua Police Department on $20,000 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment April 17 in Nashua District Court.
