Man Charged With Stealing, Using Credit Card

Police say Robert Ryan made several purchases.

Robert Kenneth Ryan, 29 of Nashua was arrested Nov. 16 and charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking, a Class B Felony; and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a Class A Misdemeanor.

According to police a family member reported the theft of a wallet, including credit cards, on November 6 just before 10 a.m.  Ryan was identified as a suspect, and police said the investigation revealed Ryan had fled with the wallet and allegedly used a credit card for various purchases in the city.

A class B felony is punishable by up to 7 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. A Class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to 1 year imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Ryan was held at the Valley Street Jail on a cash or surety bail of $2,500, pending arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division.
