Man Charged With Stealing, Using Credit Card

Robert Kenneth Ryan, 29 of Nashua was arrested Nov. 16 and charged with Theft by Unauthorized Taking, a Class B Felony; and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, a Class A Misdemeanor.

According to police a family member reported the theft of a wallet, including credit cards, on November 6 just before 10 a.m.  Ryan was identified as a suspect, and police said the investigation revealed Ryan had fled with the wallet and allegedly used a credit card for various purchases in the city.

A class B felony is punishable by up to 7 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. A Class A Misdemeanor is punishable by up to 1 year imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Ryan was held at the Valley Street Jail on a cash or surety bail of $2,500, pending arraignment in the 9^th Circuit Nashua District Division.
