Man Charged Following Assault, Knife Threat
Clayton Turner was charged with five counts of domestic violence/simple assault.

Clayton Turner, 29, of 11 A Pleasant Street, Nashua, New Hampshire was arrested July 18, charged with domestic violence criminal threatening, class B felony, and five counts of domestic violence simple assault, a misdemeanor.
Police were called to a city address July 18 just before 3 a.m. for a domestic related complaint. Officer’s located Turner in the area. After an initial investigation Turner was arrested by patrol officers. The incident was further investigated by detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division. Clayton is charged having unprivileged contact with the female victim while physically assaulting the victim on a city street earlier in that morning. He is also charged with subsequently threatening the victim with a knife within a nearby residence. The victim suffered minor injuries during this incident and didn’t require medical attention.
The class B felony is punishable by up to seven years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. Each misdemeanor is punishable by up to one year in jail, exclusive of fines. Clayton was being held on $30,000.00 cash or surety bail pending an upcoming arraignment in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Division Court on July 19, 2012.
