Man Had Kids in Car During Police Chase in Nashua, Officers Say
Joel Colon, of Merrimack, was charged with a host of crimes.

Nashua police said a 21-year-old man with two children in his Mercedes led officers on a chase Sunday.
Joel Colon, of Merrimack, was charged with a host of crimes.
Police said at about 4 p.m., officers on patrol in the area of East Barnstable Road saw Colon driving a purple Mercedes with an invalid registration and tried to stop him, but he took off. After a short chase, Colon pulled into a parking lot on Kinsley Street and was arrested. He was charged with:

- Disobeying a police officer
- Two counts of endangering the welfare of a child
- Several traffic violations
Police said Colon also had several firearms-related warrants out of Lawrence, Mass.
Colon was scheduled for an arraignment Monday.
