Man Pronounced Dead in Nashua After Crash

Hudson police said the man was killed in a collision on Derry Street Thursday.

HUDSON, NH — A man was killed in a crash in Hudson Thursday, police said.

The crash happened on Derry Street at about 1:30 p.m.

The man was driving a 2003 Ford Taurus south on Derry Street when he veered into the opposite lane and struck a sport utility vehicle head-on. He was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, where he was pronounced dead.

The SUV, a 2011 Toyota Highlander, was operated by a woman. Two children were also inside; none were hurt. All were wearing seat belts, police said.’

Police said they are investigating why the man veered into the opposite lane of traffic.
