Man Stabbed in Neck, Another Shot in Downtown Nashua

Mayhem in downtown Nashua this morning: police say a man was shot and another man was stabbed in the neck.

Nashua, NH — A man was stabbed in the neck and another man was shot in an altercation in downtown Nashua early Saturday.

At about 2:15 a.m., police said they responded to Paxton Terrace after receiving a report of gunshots.

The victims were hospitalized; both were expected to survive. The gunshot victim was hit once in the leg, police said. The stabbing victim was more seriously hurt and transported to a Boston-area hospital, police said.

Nashua Police Lt. Craig Allard said no arrests were made in connection with the incident as of Saturday afternoon.

"There is no threat to public safety," Allard added.

On July 9, 2016 at approximately 2:17 am members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Patrol Division responded to a Paxton Terrace address for a report of a disturbance involving possible shots fired. Two adult males were transported to local hospitals for injuries.
One subject suffered a stab wound to the neck and was ultimately transported to a Boston area hospital for treatment. He is currently in stable condition. The second subject suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and is currently in stable condition.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division continue to further the investigation.
There are no arrests at this time and there is no threat to public safety.
