Manchester Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of a Nashua Girl

Submitted by the Nashua Police Department: On Sept. 15, at approximately 9 p.m., Members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniformed Field Operations Bureau arrested Santos Cerritos, age 51, of Ward Street in Manchester. Cerritos was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault as a result of an investigation which was conducted by the Nashua Police Department Special Investigations Division.

On Sept. 15, a juvenile female known to Cerritos reported to the Nashua Police Department that she had been sexually assaulted by him. The juvenile is under the age of 13. The investigation was furthered by the Special Investigations Division and as a result of the investigation a warrant was issued charging Cerritos with two counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, Class A Felony.

Cerritos is being held at the Nashua Police Department on $100,000 cash only bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on Sept. 16. A Class A Felony is punishable by seven to 15 years in Prison, exclusive of fines.
