NASHUA, NH — A Massachusetts company has purchased a nearly 40,000 square foot shopping center on Route 101A in Nashua.

Linear Retail Properties of Burlington, MA, bought 270 Amherst St. on Route 101A, which houses Aldi, Domino’s Pizza, and other stores, for $10.1 million.

The site features two buildings — one around 35,000 square feet and another pad building at about 4,400 square feet. The deal was officially closed on Thursday. The company said the site was not completely leased and there were three spaces, at between 1,400 and 2,100 square feet, available.

“Linear Retail has strong conviction in the city of Nashua and its retail markets,” Aubrey Cannuscio, co-CEO of Linear Retail, said. “We believe the acquisition of 270 Amherst St. fits nicely in our portfolio of high-quality, small format retail properties. We continue to seek to acquire similar high-quality retail properties within our territory of eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.”

The acquisition was the company’s ninth property purchase in the Gate City. The company owns seven properties along the Daniel Webster Highway business corridor — including Daniel Webster Plaza, Daniel Webster Shops, Daniel Webster Crossing, and other properties, as well as 550 Amherst St.

The property is represented by Bryan Wright and Christian Janelle of SRS Real Estate Partners. Justin Smith, the head of Capital Markets at Atlantic Capital Partners, represented the seller.

“We had significant investor interest in 270 Amherst St. due to its strong tenant mix and prominent location along Amherst Street near Route 3,” Smith said. “Linear Retail closed at the terms presented in their offer, and they were a pleasure to work with.”

Linear owns 89 retail properties around New England. For more information about the company, visit its website.
