NASHUA, NH — A woman from Massachusetts is facing several felony charges after being accused of stealing items from the Pheasant Lane Mall for nine months.

Between July 2021 and May, police responded to “multiple stores” at the mall to investigate several theft incidents, Lt. Scott Hudon of the department’s criminal investigation division said. The case was furthered by detectives who developed a suspect — Jonelle Anderson, 38, of Water Street in Haverhill, MA. The thefts, Hudon said, “were in excess of $1,500 on multiple occasions.”

Police requested a warrant for her arrest, and Anderson was charged on Friday with two counts of theft by unauthorized taking-acting in concert and two counts of theft by unauthorized taking, all felonies. She was also wanted on a capias warrant out of Rockingham County Superior Court.

She was also charged with willful concealment-shoplifting and rules of the road; disobeying an officer on the same day. Anderson received a 12-month suspended sentence and 14 days in the county jail in lieu of fines. About a year later, she was accused of a probation violation, and her sentence was amended in August 2007.

In August 2017, she was accused of willful concealment-theft in Salem and pleaded guilty in September 2019. Anderson also received a suspended sentence in that case. In October 2020, a deferred sentence hearing was held, but she failed to appear, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
