Why are you seeking elective office?

To represent the best interests of Ward-5 constituents at the NH State House.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The single most pressing issue (among many) is the systematic defunding and dismantling of our New Hampshire public school system by members of the other political party.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

With regard to the Republican candidates, I believe our philosophies on the role of government in promoting a strong social safety net, public education and opportunities in life are fundamentally different. With regard to my fellow Democratic candidates, we share a similar underlying philosophy about the role of government, yet each brings their personal life experiences and priorities to the State House.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

I am not a challenger in this election.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

My priorities as an elected candidate are to advocate and vote for the best interests of my constituents with regard to spending, protecting our environment, enhancing our schools, the availability of quality healthcare, personal rights and worker’s rights.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Throughout my lifetime, I have formed successful working relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and perspectives. While at the New Hampshire State House, my Public Works and Highways Committee worked together in a collegial manner to address the full range of goals and topics that came before our committee.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Throughout my lifetime, the lessons of love, perseverance and faith in God within my family have served me well in all that I do.
