MicroSociety Academy To Host Virtual Admissions Info Nights
MicroSociety Academy Charter School will be Hosting Two Virtual Admissions Information Nights for 2022-23 Prospective Families

MicroSociety Academy Charter School, a tuition-free K-8 public charter school in Nashua, NH is currently accepting applications for the 2022-23 academic year. Students who apply and attend a mandatory Virtual Admissions Information Night will be considered for the blind lottery taking place on March 9th. Applications are due no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, February 25th. Seats are available to any incoming K-8 student for the 2022-23 school year who lives in New Hampshire. Registration is required to attend Virtual Admissions Information. Dates and times of Admissions Information Nights are as follows:

MicroSociety Academy Charter School of Southern New Hampshire (MACS) opened its doors in Nashua on September 6, 2015. MACS is committed to actively engaging students in a diverse, challenging learning environment that prepares them for college, the workforce, and citizenship in a 21st Century global society. While encouraging high student achievement expectations, MACS is also known for its effective implementation of the MicroSociety model that teaches 21st century skills, including STEM, with a focus on developing critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration. Students have jobs, create laws, utilize an internal currency, write business proposals, utilize technology applications, and learn about government and economics to prepare them to be productive citizens of the future.
On June 3rd of this year, the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce selected MACS as 2020-21 Non-Profit of the Year. Additionally, MACS was named as one of the seven model charter schools for replication in New Hampshire in the state’s 46 million dollar federal grant application. In August, MACS was chosen as one of two schools to receive a $600,000 federal expansion grant to be used towards opening a second campus for middle school operations.
