Team member Marc Sylvester noted, “These information sessions will be very helpful because the school’s unique MicroSociety theme in New Hampshire is attracting a lot of parent attention. MACS teachers will be teaching the required NH Core Curriculum and infuse technology as they provide students with opportunities to practically apply and reinforce their classroom learning by operating the agencies, ventures, and institutions of their own small society, similar to our larger society.”
Parents who plan to enroll their children at the “MACS Facts” meetings need to bring all required documentation to submit with a completed application. Required documentation, similar to various Greater-Nashua communities and other Charter Schools, includes: Birth certificate/passport (Kdg. child must be age five (5) by Sept. 30th); Updated immunization record; Recent medical exam report; Two proofs of residency: 2 different utility bills or copy of home deed/lease agreement; and applicable legal paperwork. ONLY complete registration packets will be accepted.
Completed application packets may also be mailed to: MicroSociety Academy Charter School, PO BOX 907, Nashua, NH 03060 by Friday, March 6, 2015 at 5:00 PM. Parents who have questions are welcome to contact MACS: nnmicroschool@gmail.com
