Westford police said a missing Maine woman and her 5-year-old son were spotted in a vehicle in town Tuesday.

Sarah Meade, 34, was reported missing from her home in Brunswick, Maine this week. Police said she’s traveling with her son and might be being held against her will.

Police said they believe Meade is traveling in a blue 1999 Volvo with Maine plates that read 1637SZ. That car was spotted on Powers Road in Westford Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m., police said. Officers searched the area but couldn’t find it.
