More New Hampshire Students Graduate From College

Dean's lists, incoming freshmen, and more accolades, awards for students in Amherst, Bow, Boscawen, Concord, Loudon, Milford, and Nashua.

The following students are members of the class of 2023 at Loyola University Maryland.

As first-year students embark on their college experience, they will all take part in Loyola's living learning program, Messina. The common text for Messina is "Heartland," by Sarah Smarsh. The book, an eye-opening memoir of working-class poverty in America that "will deepen our understanding of the ways in which class shapes our country."

Jacqueline O. Chistolini of Amherst enrolled at Colby College in Waterville, Maine, this fall. Before classes began Sept. 4, Chistolini took part in a weeklong orientation that included an introduction to academic and intellectual life at Colby. A graduate of Souhegan High School, Chistolini is the daughter of Jennifer Kendrick and Thomas Chistolini, both of Amherst.

Grace Buttrick of Nashua has been named to the Dean's List at Western New England University for the Spring Semester 2019. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Buttrick is working toward a BSBA in Entrepreneurship.

Jenna E. McCormack of Nashua has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the Spring 2019 semester. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.

Roger Williams University is proud to announce that Kyle Leach, of Milford, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance in May as part of the Class of 2019.

Pragya Rachur of Nashua, has earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Rachur was among approximately 3,800 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech's 257th Commencement exercises on May 3-4, at the McCamish Pavilion.

Alexander McNally, a Sport Management major at Lasell College, was named to the spring 2019 Dean's List. McNally, of Amherst, achieved a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher with at least 12 completed credits to merit this accomplishment.

Gabriella B. Foster, of Nashua, was one of 462 seniors who graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, May 26, receiving a bachelor of arts degree at the College's 198th Commencement. Award-winning television writer David E. Kelley was the guest speaker. Foster, who majored in religious studies and theater and dance, attended Nashua High School South and is the daughter of Joseph Foster and Marissa Baltus of Nashua.

437 students have been named to the Plymouth State University Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the spring semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

Loudon resident Sophia K. Maslauskas has been named to Husson University's Honors List for the Spring 2019 semester. Maslauskas is a first-year student who is currently enrolled in Husson's Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science/Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) President Laurie Leshin and Board of Trustees Chairman Jack Mollen presided over the university's 151st Commencement celebration, awarding over 850 master's and doctoral degrees at the Graduate Ceremony, held on the campus Quadrangle.
