Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Route 111 Crash

Police said a car struck a motorcyclist in Hudson on Route 111 Friday morning.

HUDSON, NH — A motorcyclist was seriously injured when he was struck by a car Friday afternoon in Hudson on Route 111, police said. The motorcyclist was airlifted to a Boston-area hospital. The other driver suffered minor injuries, police said.

The crash happened near Sullivan Road at about 12:30 p.m.

The motorcyclist was identified as a 60-year-old from Hudson. He was wearing a helmet, according to police. The impact of the crash tossed the man from his bike, a Harley Davidson.

A 42-year-old woman from Hudson was driving Ford Fiesta when she struck the man as he pulled out onto Route 111, police said. The woman was wearing a seat belt, police said.
