Motorcyclist Injured After Crash With Car In Nashua
A man was transported after a crash between a Harley-Davidson and Cadillac at the intersection of West Hollis and Vine streets.
NASHUA, NH — Nashua firefighters were sent to a crash yesterday afternoon between a Harley-Davidson and Cadillac sedan, according to officials. At just before 5 p.m. on May 11, 2019, firefighters were called to the intersection of West Hollis and Vine streets to assist the motorcyclist – a 56-year-old man – with “traumatic injuries to his left leg,” according to Deputy Fire Chief Glen MacDonald of the Nashua Fire Department. The man also had abrasions on the left side of his body.
“Crews applied a cervical collar and maintained spine immobilization as a precaution,” he noted. “They applied a splint to his left leg. The trauma team was activated at a local hospital.”
Two firefighters accompanied an AMR ambulance, at the request of the crew, to continue to help stabilizing the patient during transport.

The driver of the Cadillac was not injured.
The Nashua Police Department is investigating the crash, according to MacDonald.
