Nashua Bank Robbery Suspect Caught

John Labossiere allegedly hit St. Mary's Bank on Spruce Street Monday.

A Nashua man was arrested Monday after allegedly robbing St. Mary’s Bank on Spruce Street.

Police said John Labossiere, 44, of 14 Chestnut St., walked into the bank at about 10 a.m., passed a note to a teller demanding cash and saying he had a gun, then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

He was caught that same day at Motel 6 on Progress Avenue, about 5 miles south of the bank.

Police said they found narcotics in his motel room.

Labossiere is currently on parole, police said. He was held on $200,000 bail.
