Nashua Bank Scammed By Massachusetts Man: Police

Nashua police said they arrested Kane Bloomfield, of Worcester, Massachusetts, in a $2,500 scam.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police on Tuesday said they arrested a Massachusetts man after he scammed a bank of about $2,500. Kane Bloomfield, 32, of Worcester, was charged with felony theft. He refused bail and will be arraigned Tuesday in Nashua District Court, police said.

Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard said police began an investigation in December after a complaint from a citizen. An investigation determined Bloomfield cashed a fraudulent check worth $2,491.11 at a Nashua bank, Allard said. Bloomfield was arrested by Worcester police last month and extradited to Nashua Tuesday.
