Nashua Community Music School making music accessible to all

Summer Music Camps - 50 Scholarships Available

Nashua, NH – In keeping with its mission to bring the gift of music to people from all walks of life, the Nashua Community Music School (NCMS) will provide scholarships to its music camps to children in need around the Greater Nashua region this summer.

Each summer, NCMS runs a series of six-day camps for approximately 120 children ages 4-14, in partnership with Nashua Parks & Recreation. This year, NCMS is offering 50 scholarships funded by the Agnes M. Lindsay Trust, the Nashua Arts Commission, and donors. Scholarship applications are easy to complete and available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

"We believe that all children should have the opportunity to go to music camp. Our scholarship program removes financial barriers to make music happen,” said NCMS Executive Director Lindsay Rinaldi. "If your family is experiencing financial hardship, eligible for government assistance or free or reduced lunch at school, this program is for you."
