Nashua Driver Charged in Everett Turnpike Rampage: ICYMI

A Nashua driver was arrested after police said he went on a wrong-way rampage on the Everett Turnpike. In case you missed it.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man Sunday night allegedly drove over 90 mph the wrong way on the Everett Turnpike with two children in his van.

Angel Rodriguez, 55, was charged with a host of crimes.

Police said they received a report at about 10 p.m. that Rodriguez was driving a Mercury Villager van north in the southbound section of the turnpike. Witnesses said he was driving over 90 mph and intentionally trying to hit other vehicles.

Officers pulled him over in Merrimack near Exit 10, at which point Rodriguez assaulted them, police said. The children were not hurt.

Rodriguez was charged with reckless conduct, endangering the welfare of a child, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and disobeying a police officer. He was transported to the Hillsborough County Jail, where he was held without bail.
