Nashua Driver With Suspended License Hits Pedestrian: Police

A Nashua woman was arrested for driving after suspension after police said she struck a pedestrian head-on.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua woman was arrested Monday after hitting a pedestrian in Hudson, according to police. Sadie Creighton, 28, was charged with driving after suspension (second offense). She was not charged with any crimes related to the crash itself.

Police said Creighton was driving a van on Flagstone Drive when a 33-year-old Hudson man crossed the road, despite the lack of crosswalks in the area. Creighton hit the man head-on, seriously injuring him, police said. The impact sent the man flying onto a nearby lawn, police said. Creighton then helped the man into her vehicle and drove to a nearby Dunkin' Donuts, where they were met by officers, police said. The man was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital; police said he's expected to survive.

Creighton was released on bail and scheduled for an arraignment in Nashua District Court May 11.
