Nashua 'Granite Hammer' Sweep: 8 Arrested
The 11th Nashua police crime sweep of 2017 netted eight arrests Thursday.

NASHUA, NH — The Nashua Police Department's latest "Granite Hammer" drug sweep on Thursday netted eight suspects charged with crimes involving oxycodone, suboxone and crack cocaine. The Granite Hammer program is collaboration between New Hampshire police agencies and the FBI targeting drug distribution. Nashua police Lieutenant Kevin Rourke said the eight suspects were charged with "drug-related" crimes.

These are the suspects:

Stephanie Thompson, 26, of Nashua, was charged with selling oxycodone and held on $25,000 bail.
Trek Stapel, 27, of Nashua, was charged with being a common nuisance and held on $100,000 bail.

Enric Podvojsky, 45, of Nashua, was charged with selling crack cocaine and held on $25,000 bail.
Edwin Hernandez, 43, of Nashua, was charged with falsifying evidence and held on $10,000 bail.
Damien Martini, 34, of Nashua, was charged with two counts of selling heroin (second offense). He refused bail.
Israel Santiago, 42, with no fixed address, was charged with selling cocaine. He refused bail.
Erica Barlow, 26, with no fixed address, was charged with resisting arrest and trespassing. Police said she had a "series" of warrants stemming from her arrest for allegedly selling heroin during a previous Granite Hammer sweep. She was held in custody pending an arraignment.
Crytsal Gately, 28, of Woburn, Massachusetts, was charged with suboxone possession and held on $540 bail.
All suspects will be arraigned Friday in Nashua District Court.
"These arrests came at the conclusion of investigations into the distribution of illegal drugs in Nashua and were made possible through funding provided by the Granite Hammer program," Rourke said in a statement.
Rourke said Nashua citizens concerned about illegal drug activity can contact the police narcotics hotline at 603-594-3597.
Thursday's operation was the 11th crime sweep conducted in Nashua so far this year.
