Nashua police Lt. Kerry Baxter said on March 10, officers received a report from a woman who said her boyfriend — identified as Lachapelle — strangled her and "threw her around" a residence. Her injuries were so severe she was treated at a local hospital, Baxter said. The next day, officers obtained a warrant for Lachapelle's arrest but he didn't immediately turn himself in. On Tuesday at about 4:45 a.m., patrol officers located him on Factory Street and took him into custody.
