Nashua 'Jack The Snipper' Arrested Again: Report

DURHAM, NH — A Nashua man dubbed "Jack the Snipper" for allegedly sneaking into women's apartments and cutting off their clothing as they slept was reportedly arrested again last week. Jeffrey Gelinas, 41, of Nashua, was charged with prowling in the woods of a Durham neighborhood, police told WMUR. He was held in custody for violating his parole, according to WMUR.

Gelinas earned the "Jack the Snipper" nickname in 2003, when police said he broke into women’s apartments near the University of New Hampshire in Durham and cut off their clothing as they slept. He was convicted of attempted burglary in that case.

In 2014, Gelinas was charged with exposing himself to a girl at a Nashua Barnes & Noble and in 2015 was charged with exposing himself to another girl at a Salem Barnes & Noble.
