Nashua Knife Rampage Suspect Arrested: Police
Joshua Smith, 32, of Hudson, threatened three people in Nashua on Main Street Saturday, according to police.
NASHUA, NH — A knife-wielding man went on a rampage in Nashua on a busy section of Main Street Saturday, punching one victim in the face and sticking his knife to another victim's throat, according to police. Joshua Smith, 32, of Hudson, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of criminal threatening and armed robbery.
"Detectives learned that Smith had punched one victim in the face while in the parking lot of 300 Main Street," Nashua police Lt. Craig Allard said in a statement. "After punching this male victim, Smith brandished a knife and demanded the victim 'roll his pockets.' During a separate incident at 300 Main Street, Smith held a knife to another male victim’s neck while that male was sitting in his own vehicle.
"The last incident involving Smith happened in the parking lot of the Simoniz Car Wash located on 204 Daniel Webster Highway," Allard said. "During that incident, Smith brandished a knife and walked aggressively towards the third male victim, however no physical contact was made with that victim."

None of the victims required hospitalized, Allard said.
Smith, a convicted felon, was charged with three counts of criminal threatening, armed robbery and assault, Allard said.

Smith was held on $100,000 bail pending an arraignment in Nashua District Court Monday.
