Nashua Man, 21, Sexually Assaulted Child, 13: Police

NASHUA, NH — A 21-year-old Nashua man was recently arrested on charges he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old, according to police. Alfredo James, 21, with no fixed address, was arrested following an investigation that started December 30 when police received information about the victim, Nashua police Lt. Kerry Baxter said in a statement.

"The suspect was identified as Alfredo James, a person who is known to the victim," Baxter said.

Police obtained warrant for James on a charge of felony sexual assault and arrested him on January 6. He was subsequently charged with an additional sexual assault count.

James was unable to post $12,000 bail and held at the Valley Street Jail pending an arraignment.
