Nashua Man Arrested After Disturbance on West Hollis Street
Robert Hall faces numerous charges; officer injured while he was reportedly resisting arrest.

A local man was arrested last month after allegedly damaging a residence and injuring a police officer during the arrest.
Robert Hall, 36, of West Hollis Street in Nashua, was arrested at around 10 p.m. on Nov. 12, and charged with simple assault, false imprisonment, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
According to an arrest report, at around 10 p.m., officers were sent to a residence on West Hollis Street for a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, the first officer on the scene reportedly saw Hall “damaging the front door of the residence,” according to police. Hall reportedly saw the officer and fled. The officer chased and caught up with Hall.
“During the foot pursuit Hall assaulted (the officer) and physically resisted arrest causing the officer to sustain a fractured wrist,” according to Lt. James Testaverde of the criminal investigations division. “Despite the injury, (the officer) continued the pursuit and subsequently caught Hall in front of 30 Ledge Street, taking him into custody.”

Prior to the chase, according to officers, Hall allegedly assaulted a woman at the residence and wouldn’t let her leave.
Hall was held on $10,000 cash bail and was arraigned the next day. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in fail and fines.
