Nashua Man Arrested in Horrifying Home Invasion

Liam Delorey, of Nashua, allegedly forced his way into a woman's apartment, strangled her, and prevented her from leaving.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Sunday in connection with a horrifying home invasion.

Liam Delorey, 34, allegedly forced his way into a woman's apartment on the morning of March 7, breaking the door, police said. He jumped on the victim, strangled her, and prevented her from escaping, police said. He then allegedly stole several items.

Police said Delorey knew the victim.

He was charged with second-degree assault, false imprisonment, domestic violence, theft, and criminal mischief. He was held on $5,000 bail pending an arraignment.
