Nashua Man Arrested on Second Operating After Suspension Charge

Robert Johansen was arrested by Merrimack Police on the Daniel Webster Highway after a motor vehicle stop.

A local man was arrested again for operating after suspension during the weekend in Merrimack.

Police arrested Robert Johansen, 32, of Autumn Leaf Drive in Nashua for operation after suspension, second offense, at around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 17, 2015.

Johansen was arrested after police reportedly stopped a 2013 Mercedes C Class on the Daniel Webster Highway near Hoyt Street for a motor vehicle infraction, according to a report.

According to Sgt. Ted Dillon of the Merrimack Police Department, “When police spoke to the driver identified as the above Robert Johansen it was found that his license to drive in the state of New Hampshire was under suspension.”

Police later found out that he had a previous operating after suspension conviction and he was arrested.

Johansen was later released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is due in Merrimack District Court on Nov. 3.
