Nashua Man Caught in Maine
Police allege that Richard Waite was involved in a domestic assault.

Police in Maine picked up a local man after being a fugitive from justice, according to Nashua Police.
Richard Waite, 25, of Shedds Avenue in Nashua, was taken into custody from Maine Police on Sept. 10, on a domestic violence simple assault warrant.
Police picked him up at the Cumberland County Jail in Portland, Maine, according to a report.

Waite was allegedly involved in assaulting a resident in Nashua on Aug. 19.
“The victim, who was known to the defendant, did not suffer any serious injury,” according to Lt. Jeffrey Maher.

During the investigation, police also discovered that Waite was wanted by the Wilmington, MA, Police Department on a burglary rap.
Waite refused bail and was arraigned on Sept. 11.
