Nashua Man Charged for Assaulting Woman
Police charge Joseph Cutter with five counts of assault.

A local man was arrested in the early morning hours on Saturday for allegedly assaulting a woman, according to Nashua Police.
Joseph Cutter, 24, with a last known address of Chestnut Street in Nashua, was arrested at around 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 27, and charged with domestic violence second-degree assault, a felony, and four counts of domestic violence simple assault.
According to a report, officers were sent to Spit Brook Road near Brook Village Road for a report of a domestic disturbance at around 3:45 a.m. on the date in question. When they arrived, they reportedly found a woman who “had sustained several injuries and was the victim of an assault.” Cutter was arrested and later, the felony charge was added. He was held on $10,000 cash bail and arraigned on Sept. 29.

If convicted, Cutter faces up to 11 years in prison plus fines.
According to an online report, Cutter was arrested in April 2013, for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
