Nashua Man Charged in Brutal Attack
Charles O'Neill, 46, of 28 Railroad Square, was arrested Tuesday.

The following is from Nashua police:
On January 6th, 2015 members of the Nashua Police Department’s Uniform Field Operations Bureau arrested Charles O’Neill, age 46, 28 Railroad Square, Nashua, New Hampshire, for Second Degree Assault, Class B Felony. O’Neil was arrested at approximately 4:36 p.m. at his residence.
On January 4th, 2015 Nashua Officers responded to 28 Railroad Square for a report of a male who had sustained a fall related head injury. Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division furthered this report and discovered that O’Neill and another adult male were involved in a physical altercation outside the building. During the altercation O’Neill pushed the victim from behind causing him to fall and sustain a serious head injury.

The victim was transported to a Massachusetts area hospital for treatment where he remains in stable condition.
Based on the investigation Detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging O’Neil with Second Degree Assault, Class B Felony. A Class B felony is punishable by up to 7 years imprisonment, exclusive of fines. O’Neil was held on $25,000 cash or surety bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit-District Division-Nashua Court on January 7th, 2015.
