Nashua Man Charged in Brutal Domestic Violence Case

James Page was arrested and charged with 22 crimes.

Nashua police charged a city man with 22 crimes in a disturbing domestic violence case.

James Page, 57, was arrested Thursday after police said he beat, strangled, and threatened a victim on multiple occasions. Police did not name the victim.

The beating was so severe the victim was hospitalized, police said. The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Police initially charged him with 14 misdemeanor crimes, including assault and domestic violence. Further investigation resulted in eight more charges, ranging from threatening to second-degree assault.

Page’s bail was set at $50,000. He’s due in court Oct. 19.
