Nashua Man Charged With Domestic Violence on Child

A Nashua man was arrested for domestic violence on a child after a report was made at a local school, police said.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested for assaulting a child and threatening the boy with a knife, police said.

Eric Bernard, 37, of Langholm Drive, was taken into custody Friday and charged with a host of crimes.

Police said they launched an investigation into Bernard after receiving a report Friday from a local school. Officers spoke to a boy who said Bernard assaulted him several times and on one occasion used a knife to threaten him.

Bernard was charged with:

  • Felony domestic violence
  • Felony criminal threatening
  • Misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child
  • Three counts of misdemeanor domestic violence
  • Three counts of misdemeanor assault
