Nashua Man Charged With Felony Domestic Assault
Freddie Buchanan charged with three counts of felony assault, among other charges, Monday night.

NASHUA -- A Nashua man has been charged with three counts of felony domestic violence assault after Nashua Police arrested him Monday night.
Police say they responded to a domestic disturbance call and found an adult woman who reported Freddie Buchanan, 38, assaulted her. The woman, who said she knows Buchanan, declined medical attention.
Detectives from the Special Investigations Division conducted an investigation and charged Buchanan with three counts of felony domestic assault, three counts of misdemeanor assault, one count of misdemeanor false imprisonment and resisting arrest.

Each felony count is punishable up to seven years of prison. Each misdemeanor count is punishable up to one year in prison.
Police say Buchanan refused bail and was scheduled to be arraigned in Hillsborough Superior Court on Tuesday.
