Nashua Man Charged in Horrific Attack on Woman: Police
Edward Lauziere, of Nashua, punched the victim multiple times and strangled her until she passed out, police said.
NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Monday on charges he attacked a woman so severely she ended up in the hospital, police said. Edward Lauziere, 60, of Avon Drive, was charged with a host of crimes.
Police said he punched the woman multiple times in her face, fracturing her nose and orbital bones. He also strangled her to the point that she lost consciousness, according to Nashua police Lt. Kerry Baxter.
"The victim ... was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment," Baxter said in a statement.

The beating happened at a city residence, according to Baxter. Police said they were notified of the assault Monday about 7 p.m. and arrested Lauziere a few hours later. He was charged with:
- Domestic violence
- Second-degree assault (two counts)
- Assault
He was held on $25,000 bail pending an arraignment.
