Nashua Lowe's Theft Suspect Arrested

Justin Spencer pulled the old trick of picking up store merchandise and going directly to customer service to return it, police said.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested this week on charges he stole merchandise from the city’s Lowe’s store.

Justin Spencer, 28, was charged with felony theft on Thursday.

Police said on Jan. 6, he walked into the store, picked up merchandise from a display, and returned it as if he had purchased it.

Police said Spencer has a criminal history that includes two theft convictions.

He was held on $5,000 bail pending an arraignment.
