Nashua Man Hit Woman With Trench Knife: Police
Nashua police said Dakota Marshburn struck a woman over the head with a trench knife Friday.
NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Friday on charges he struck a woman over the head with a trench knife. Dakota Marshburn, 20, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony. He was released on $5,000 bail, police said.

Nashua police Lieutenant Craig Allard said officers spoke to witnesses who indicated Marshburn was involved in a fight with the woman.

"During the course of the altercation Marshburn had brandished a trench knife and struck the victim over the head with the handle portion of the trench knife which is shaped like brass knuckles," Allard said in a statement.
The victim was hospitalized, Allard said. Marshburn will be arraigned in Nashua District Court September 27.
