Nashua Man Kidnapped, Stabbed Girlfriend: Police
A Nashua man was charged with kidnapping and stabbing his girlfriend, who survived the horrific ordeal, police said.

NASHUA, NH — A Nashua man was arrested Tuesday and charged with kidnapping and stabbing his girlfriend.
Sheldon Grant, 34, was charged with a host of crimes.

Police said the victim, 36, told them he stabbed her while she was driving their car from Manchester to Nashua on March 12. Two days later, he assaulted her again at her Manchester apartment, police said. He threatened her with a gun and detained her against her will; she managed to escape when he fell asleep, police said.
Grant scuffled with Manchester police officers during his arrest, police said.

Grant was charged with kidnapping, threatening, and resisting arrest.
Police said the weapon he used was a stolen .45-caliber handgun.
Police said he punched the woman and slammed her head in a wall. She suffered multiple injuries.
